Job summary

Red Team IT, an Austin Lane Company, seeks a Network Engineer in Denton, TX to design and support multi-user networks, servers, and related infrastructure. You will evaluate complex tech environments, propose cost-effective configurations, gather requirements, and deliver solutions to clients.

The role emphasizes hands-on administration across Windows servers, Exchange, cloud services, virtualization, and security hardening, with collaboration on multiple projects and ongoing process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Microsoft MCTS or higher certification (must obtain/maintain)** Microsoft related certifications as Austin Lane is a Cloud Partner
• 3-5 years of technical experience in network design and network support
• Knowledge of operating procedures, network protocols, system software and multi-vendor environments
• Knowledge of multiple backup technologies including Tape/Disk/Cloud and use cases
• Windows operating systems: 10/11, Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025
• Microsoft Exchange 2016, 2019
• Microsoft Office 2024/365
• Microsoft Cloud Solutions such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, EntraID
• Wireless Infrastructure
• Hyper-V/VMware, ESXI
• Cyber Security Hardening Techniques & Best Practices

Providing system-level support of multi-user operating systems, and hardware and software tools including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of multiple client systems.
