Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (trade training preferred) and 5+ years of technician experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and adapt to changing priorities on a fast-paced job site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy equipment, or specialty lines equipment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting; advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and advanced diagnostics on equipment.
• Make complex repairs in the safest, most effective way possible to minimize downtime.
• Work with a varied fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment.
