Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 70 pounds and work in varied environment
• Welding experience is a plus
• MSHA training is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and manuals

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair on heavy equipment
• Complete service-related documents and paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and service truck
• Meet safety requirements for company and equipment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and equipment operators
• Read and interpret specifications and manuals
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment
• Safely use hand and power tools and equipment
• Provide leadership through example and knowledge sharing
