Job summary

Enerflex is seeking an experienced equipment operator to move materials and operate yard equipment up to 65,000 pounds with supervision. The role requires safety-conscious operation of forklifts and adherence to HSE guidelines in a manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have 5+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and certification. The position includes manual tasks in varying weather conditions and opportunities for preventative maintenance and shipping

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of related experience with equipment operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification required.
• Ability to perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions and in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of safety practices and occupational hazards in industrial environments.
• Experience lifting and moving heavy objects, including loads around 15,000+ pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard equipment and forklifts with lift capacities up to 65,000 lbs to move materials.
• Safely load/unload freight and move materials to/from shop and yard.
• Follow all HSE guidelines and ensure equipment safety and maintenance.
• Perform daily equipment checks and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Assist with equipment preparation prior to shipping and keep yard organized.
