Elmington Construction in Nashville, TN seeks a Senior Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, and other machinery on site. You will perform excavation, grading, trenching, loading, and site preparation while coordinating with superintendents and field teams.

A strong safety mindset and ability to work independently are essential, with readiness to adapt to changing site conditions and priorities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience with excavators, dozers, skid steers, loaders or backhoes.
• Experience with equipment maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver's license required for company vehicles/equipment.
• Ability to follow jobsite safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate heavy construction equipment on projects.
• Run equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, loaders, backhoes and compactors.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, loading and site prep.
• Follow project plans and instructions from field leadership.
• Conduct daily walk-around inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain equipment clean and in safe operating condition.
• Work safely around utilities and communicate hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with superintendents, foremen and subcontractors.
