Qualifications

• 3 years' work-related experience.
• Special CDL license required to operate large equipment on public highways.
• Driver’s safety certification required by DOT.
• Must provide a valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract (no moving violations in the past 5 years).

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, transport and service tractors and large equipment requiring a license on public highways.
• Perform tasks of average difficulty with some independent judgement.
• Keep equipment clean and serviced and report mechanical problems.
• Schedule equipment for regular service and maintain a maintenance log.
• Load and haul sand, soil, cinder for golf course or grounds.
• Adhere to highway laws and safety procedures.
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
• Assist with special projects and duties of lower rated positions.
