Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp in Renton, WA is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations and drive project success. You will plan work methods, coordinate crews, and manage safety and scheduling across assigned projects.

The role requires strong communication, deep knowledge of plans/specs, and ability to manage subcontractors while maintaining budget and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree is a plus; STS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule.
• Review project specs and coordinate with field teams and utilities.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to ensure equipment and materials meet budgets.
• Forecast schedules and provide scheduling recommendations to mitigate issues.
• Provide input to identify and resolve project risks, safety, and schedule activities.
• Supervise subcontractor production and adjust schedules as needed.
