Job summary

LGA Partners, an architecture firm with offices in Pittsburgh and Cleveland, seeks a Senior Project Architect to lead healthcare design efforts in our Healthcare Studio. This role supports growth across our two offices and collaborates across disciplines to ensure design intent and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will manage complex projects, coordinate consultants, and oversee QA/QC, documentation, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or similar degree required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in AEC, healthcare market advantageous.
• Professional licensure in Architecture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement project design.
• Ensure the overall design quality aligns with firm standards and client expectations.
• Develop and prepare project deliverables, ensuring accuracy and consistency with design standards.
• Coordinate consultant deliverables and design integration across disciplines.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with life safety, constructability, and quality standards.
• Verify that all designs and documents meet applicable building codes and regulations.
• Conduct site analyses addressing geotechnical, environmental, social, and contextual factors.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure design intent is followed during construction.
• Manage and maintain accurate project documentation and client communications.
