Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Aybe able to proofread for context and grammar.
• Excellent decision-making and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in the Healthcare Litigation Department.
• Review patient medical and billing claim files.
• Develop case management strategies, including trial preparation.

Skills

ABA-approved paralegal certificate or attorney declaration

5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal

Thorough knowledge of Federal and State court Rules and Procedures

Advanced knowledge of Excel

Familiarity with Relativity, RelOne, Adobe Acrobat, Lexis CaseNotebook, Westlaw/Lexis

Trial experience

Excellent organizational skills

Interest in Health Care Law

Education
