Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a senior Software Integration Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable healthcare integrations across EHR, claims, CHIE, and public-health feeds. You will lead bidirectional CHIE partnerships, data mapping, transformation, and production support in a federal healthcare modernization context.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience, with expertise in HL7 v2, MLLP, Java, XML, JSON, SQL, and API integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related software integration engineering experience.
• Experience developing healthcare interfaces using HL7 v2 and MLLP.
• Experience configuring Apache NiFi pipelines and Open Integration Engine adapters.

Job description

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Java, scripting, XML, JSON, SQL, and API integration.
• Experience integrating EHR, claims, public-health, HIE, or CHIE data.
• Experience supporting federal Health IT programs, including VA, DHA, or HHS.
