Job summary

You will work with faculty, clinicians, and data teams to design studies, analyze data, and support publication, while mentoring others in study design and analytic methods.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or clinical doctorate with research training, or master’s with substantial healthcare data research experience and 3 years in this field.
• Experience with statistical analysis, study design and clinical or real-world healthcare data.
• Preferred: Epic Systems or Cosmos experience; strong scientific writing and publication record.

Responsibilities

• Support development of UTA’s healthcare informatics education and research programs with Cook Children’s Health Care System.
• Develop scalable infrastructure, tools, workflows, and data specifications for clinical and real-world data projects.
• Conduct analyses to generate insights and publication-ready outputs for academic, clinical, and operational stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and data teams to translate questions into study designs and analytical plans.
• Lead or contribute to manuscripts, abstracts, reports, and presentations.
• Provide training and mentorship on clinical data science, study design, and analytical methods.
• Apply governance, privacy, security, and regulatory practices to ensure research quality and compliance.
