Job summary

Zeta Global is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build reliable, scalable data pipelines and data products for a healthcare vertical. You will work hands-on to transform healthcare and marketing datasets into trusted foundations for audience discovery, segmentation, activation, reporting, and measurement.

Collaborating with engineering and product teams, you will implement data architecture and engineering standards while owning key delivery lifecycle components.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on data engineering experience with ownership of production pipelines and healthcare data.
• Strong Python and expert SQL skills, with experience building transformations and diagnosing data issues.
• Experience with AWS data services (S3) and a modern cloud data warehouse; Snowflake, Airflow, and EMR preferred.
• Data modeling, schema evolution, batch processing, orchestration, testing, CI/CD, and production support practices.
• Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and deliver well-documented data products.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI handling and privacy-by-design controls for regulated healthcare data.
• Experience in AdTech/MarTech, identity resolution, audience onboarding, segmentation, data linkage, or measurement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate production-grade pipelines for healthcare, identity, audience, and campaign data.
• Implement maintainable data models, transformations, governed views, and reusable datasets.
• Deliver data products supporting audience discovery, segmentation, activation, and reporting.
• Build Airflow workflows with dependencies, retries, data-quality checks, and runbooks; use EMR for compute workloads.
• Write efficient SQL across Snowflake, Hive, and Athena; adapt to platform-specific syntax.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, data science, and platform teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Implement data-quality controls, monitoring, and incident-response practices for data products.
• Support data onboarding and integration for healthcare partners and internal sources.
