Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect in the Applied AI Solutions organization to help healthcare customers design, accelerate, and implement cloud-based solutions. You will work with BD, Sales, and Product leadership to translate customer needs into technical architectures and guide successful implementations.

You will develop customer-facing content, stay informed on healthcare regulations, and travel ~30% to support engagements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 5+ years of software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 6+ years in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagement with customers to understand requirements, propose solutions, and address technical concerns.
• Build and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept to showcase AWS capabilities to Healthcare customers.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for healthcare solutions.
• Collaborate with Product teams to develop new features and services that delight healthcare customers, providing technical expertise and feedback.
• Capture and share best practices and technical knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Develop customer-facing technical content such as reference architectures, whitepapers, and implementation guides for HCLS use cases.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in healthcare space.
• Travel ~30% of the time to support customer engagements.
