Job summary

Fourways Consulting LLC is actively seeking an experienced Healthcare Claims QA Analyst / Tester to drive QA across Hartford, CT and remote environments. You will design test plans, execute functional and regression tests, and validate mainframe data and EDI transactions to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 7–9 years of QA experience in healthcare claims processing, strong mainframe testing expertise, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

7–9 years of software QA experience in healthcare/claims.
Hands-on QA, automated testing, and QA engineering.
Experience with mainframe testing and data validation.
Agile/Scrum experience with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of healthcare IT data standards and validation.
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
US Citizenship or Green Card with work authorization.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for healthcare claims processing.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end QA testing on mainframe environments.
Validate data flows, flat files, DB transactions, and batch jobs on core mainframe systems.
Test and validate EDI claims formats (HIPAA ANSI X12 837/835).
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.
Log, track, and retest defects using Jira and Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and QA squads to ensure flawless releases.
Maintain test docs, traceability matrices, QA runbooks, and audit reports.
