Job summary

AWS is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to accelerate the healthcare AI/ML business within the World Wide Public Sector Health & Life Sciences team. You will lead technical strategy across a portfolio of healthcare customers, guiding AI/ML adoption from experimentation to production.

You will engage with providers, payers, and med-tech companies, defining architectures and best practices, while mentoring teammates and contributing to thought leadership. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multi-stakeholder technical engagements and presenting to senior leaders.
• Experience architecting production AI/ML solutions in healthcare contexts (GenAI, NLP, computer vision, data platforms).
• Technical leadership to design long-term solutions and drive adoption of best practices across teams.
• Ability to mentor others and scale impact beyond individual contribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements and present decisions to senior leaders.
• Define reference architectures and reusable patterns for clinical/operational healthcare AI use cases.
• Handle end-to-end design, validate requirements, and articulate benefits and challenges of approaches.
• Influence stakeholders to drive best practices and multiply team impact.
• Mentor and develop other professionals across the HCLS organization.
• Produce thought leadership content to scale team impact.
