Job summary

The role oversees litigation and administrative actions, supervises 2–4 attorneys, and coordinates with the Division Chief. Requires a Juris Doctorate and five years post-bar experience with Michigan Bar membership.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law.
• Five years of post-bar admission legal experience.
• Membership in good standing in the Michigan State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Carries a case load of litigation, administrative hearings, and appeals in state and federal courts.
• Supervises 2 to 4 attorneys, makes case assignments, reviews draft Division level advice and appellate briefs, and performs other management functions.
