Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• 5 years of related, progressive law experience in health, insurance, corporate, or regulatory areas.
• License to practice law in PA or eligible for admission in DE, WV, or NY within one year of hire.
• Preferred privacy counsel certification for Privacy Counsel roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular legal support for one or more units within the Corporation, applying federal, state and regulatory law knowledge.
• Prepare legal memoranda, contracts, pleadings, and other documents; conduct independent legal research and analysis.
• Maintain relationships with internal clients, outside counsel, and management; provide timely legal advice.
• Manage or coordinate with outside counsel to address issues efficiently and minimize costs.
• Advise management and staff on business-friendly, legally compliant recommendations.
