Job summary

Marsh in San Francisco is seeking a Lead Health & Benefits Consultant to manage client accounts with 2000+ lives, overseeing medical, dental, life, and disability benefit programs.

This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week and focuses on negotiating with carriers, designing renewals, and expanding services.

You will lead complex engagements, drive strategy, and ensure client satisfaction while growing revenue.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience identifying and solving healthcare benefits challenges.
• Renowned expertise and industry reputation in health & benefits.
• Client-facing consulting experience.
• Life & Health license.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements managing service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, renewals, business placements, benchmarking and other studies.
• Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies, driving tools and solutions for complex client issues.
• Determine the full scope of services for clients and set roles within the client team.
• Effectively communicate Marsh's position on industry trends to clients.
• Be accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects.
• Monitor project success in terms of scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
• Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
• Set strategic direction and create demand for new products/services in the marketplace.
