Job summary

Hayward Holdings Inc. is seeking a seasoned Hardware Test Engineer to own the full test platform development for our consumer electronics products.

You will design test specs, hardware and GUI test tools, and work closely with Design and Manufacturing engineers to ensure robust, scalable test systems on high-volume lines. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hardware test experience, strong C and assembly programming skills, and hands-on familiarity with microcontrollers and PC-based test

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hardware test experience from product concept to completion.
Strong knowledge of digital/analog electronics and test methodology.
Proficiency in C and assembly language programming.
Experience with microcontrollers (PIC, Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and GUI test apps.
Familiarity with Windows programming (Delphi/Pascal, Python, C#) and test tooling.
Education in computer or electrical engineering (BS).

Responsibilities

Analyze and understand circuits and functional blocks of consumer electronics.
Develop test specifications and requirements for high-volume production lines.
Design test hardware and GUI applications to perform tests per specs.
Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to develop safe, ergonomic test equipment.
Coordinate with R&D to support new product releases and quality improvements.
Debug and repair existing test hardware and software; maintain/test equipment.
Update documentation, create new test system design docs and procedures.
