Job summary

Parraid, LLC in Hollywood, MD seeks a Hardware Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize complex hardware that meets performance, reliability, and cost targets. You will work with software, product, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration.

Responsibilities include system-level analysis, validation, testing, HDL/FPGA design, and managing high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet). A 4-year EE degree is required or a related discipline; 7+ years in telemetry or telecom is

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PCI Express, DDR or other high-speed interfaces.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet down to the physical layer.
  • Knowledge of I2C and USB serial interfaces.
  • Knowledge of SoC FPGA design.
  • Experience with HDL coding (VHDL, Verilog/SystemVerilog).
  • Techniques for noise reduction and immunity.
  • Proven track record of completed hardware designs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop hardware design specifications based on requirements and concepts.
  • Perform system-level analysis through design cycles and testing.
  • Collaborate with software, product, and manufacturing teams for integration.
  • Lead design reviews and documentation; ensure manufacturability.
  • Execute design verification, timing analysis, and FPGA simulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments for system integration and field support.
