You will align hardware and software engineering, product management, and operations to deliver high-quality, on-time solutions in a complex, multi-functional environment. The role requires 7+ years in hardware program management with a strong track record of managing large-scale programs, budgets, and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of experience or master's in engineering with 5+ years in hardware program management.
• Experience leading end-to-end, complex hardware programs with moderate to high risk and multiple interdependencies.
• Experience in defining and delivering program plans, schedules, and budgets, including monitoring critical path activities and resource allocation.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, MS Project to track program metrics.
• Experience using AI tools e.g. ChatGPT, Codex, Claude to improve the program management process.

Responsibilities

• Lead program management of large-scale, high-risk hardware products for Cisco with multiple interdependencies across functions, ensuring end-to-end delivery from concept to customer release.
• Orchestrate multi-functional activities by aligning hardware and software engineering, product management, and operations teams for cohesive execution.
• Drive solving complex problems by interpreting business trends to implement innovative solutions for program delivery.
• Monitor program health, manage critical path roadmaps, and conduct risk mitigation and course corrections.
• Handle budget preparations, resource allocation, and financial discipline aligned to business plans.
• Provide executive-status updates and strategic recommendations to sustain relationships with partners.
• Mentor engineering PM staff and promote process improvements including CI methodologies.
