Job summary

Argo Cyber Systems seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer / Hardware Forensics Lead to build and run a government Chip-Off Forensics Laboratory supporting DHS operations. You will lead hardware investigations on embedded devices, IoT, and ICS, developing advanced forensic workflows and ensuring evidence integrity.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• 10+ years in electrical eng, embedded hardware design, digital electronics, or hardware security.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment of a Chip-Off Forensics Laboratory from design to operation.
• Perform chip-off forensic extraction from flash memory and related storage tech.
• Analyze embedded devices and firmware; recover data from damaged or encrypted storage.
• Develop repeatable forensic methodologies and SOPs; ensure chain-of-custody.
• Collaborate with DHS/Nightwing SMEs and incident response teams; provide reach-back support.
