Job summary

Aeva is seeking a talented Sr/Staff Hardware Engineer to join the EE HW team. You will own the design, build and bring-up of mixed-signal PCBs for the LiDAR system, collaborating with EE engineers to define boards and interconnections based on product requirements.

Responsibilities include breaking down requirements into architecture and PCB designs, leading layout through fabrication and bring-up, and guiding a small team as needed.

Qualifications

• BS, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of hardware design experience from architecture to bring-up.
• Experience with high-speed designs and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCIe).

Responsibilities

• Break down product requirements into architecture and EE PCB designs and their interconnections.
• Lead schematic design through layout, fabrication and bring-up for LiDAR PCBs.
• Collaborate with EE engineers and cross-functional teams to review designs.
• Own PCBs and sub-systems of a LiDAR system and guide optimization.
