Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. in Mountain View, CA seeks a Staff Hardware Electrical Engineer to own design and validation of electrical PCBs and subsystems for autonomous vehicles. You will work across software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to build safe, reliable hardware.

The role requires 10+ years in hardware development, deep PCB expertise, and experience with automotive safety standards including ISO 26262. On-site Mountain View location with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Design and validate custom PCBA electronics for autonomous vehicles.
• Schematic and layout design of analog/digital PCBs.
• Lead DFMEA analysis and cross-functional design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Debug and bring-up of PCBs in a complex system.
• Own full lifecycle of PCB design from concept to release.
• Define stress test routines; validate thermal and power performance.
