Actalent is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer in Horsham, PA, to lead the electrical hardware design of next-generation optical transceiver products (1.2T/1.6T). You will own boards end-to-end, from architecture and schematic capture to layout oversight, reviews, validation and release, collaborating with RF, firmware, mechanical, PCB layout and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hardware design experience in board-level electronics development.
• Proven track record leading hardware development from architecture through release.
• Strong high-speed digital and analog circuit design expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own PCB hardware development from concept to release, including architecture, schematic capture and validation.
• Lead high-speed digital/analog circuit design for optical transceiver platforms.
• Develop and review complete electrical schematics using professional EDA tools (PADS).
• Evaluate and qualify electronic components for performance, reliability, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with RF, firmware, mechanical, PCB layout, manufacturing and test teams throughout the lifecycle.
