Qualifications

• Active New York State OT license or in-progress
• Bachelor's or master's degree in OT required
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient orthopedics/hand therapy experience preferred
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) strongly preferred; candidates pursuing CHT will be considered

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations focused on upper-extremity function
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
• Deliver hands-on therapy interventions aligned with physician referrals and patient goals
• Fabricate splints and provide adaptive equipment training
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and functional strategies
• Communicate with patients, physicians and care teams
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to maximize outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Guide and support OT Assistants and aides as applicable
