Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Hadoop Developer in Charlotte, NC, a hybrid role designed to design, develop, and support large-scale Big Data solutions for risk reporting and analytics.

You will work across the full SDLC, leveraging Hadoop, Spark, ETL, and automation to deliver scalable data solutions. Collaboration with business and tech partners is essential for process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Mid- to senior-level Hadoop Developer with Big Data experience.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark) and ETL.
• Strong PL/SQL, RDBMS, and Unix shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Big Data solutions using Hadoop ecosystem.
• Utilize ETL skills with Hadoop and Big Data tech.
• Employ Spark performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Apply PL/SQL/RDBMS knowledge and Unix scripting to pipelines.
• Support data quality and root-cause analysis; assist production teams.
