Job summary

Dominique Dawes Academy in Ashburn, VA seeks a Senior Coach to lead energetic, safe gymnastics or ninja classes for preschool to intermediate athletes. You will partner with program leaders to refine lessons, support staff, and ensure smooth class transitions.

Responsibilities include coaching, onboarding new coaches, maintaining safety standards, and promoting core values of respect and teamwork. Evening and weekend hours are common.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in instructional or recreational settings is preferred.
• Background in gymnastics, ninja, or movement-based discipline is required.
• CPR/AED, First Aid and SafeSport certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-energy, engaging, and safe classes for various ages and skill levels.
• Refine lesson plans with Program/General Manager and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Support gym management with new lesson plans, equipment changes, and scheduling.
• On-board and train new coaches; provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment.
• Monitor class flow and respond to safety concerns per gym protocols.
