Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Guidewire Solutions Engineer to deliver configuration, integration, and customization across the Guidewire InsuranceSuite—PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter—and Guidewire Cloud. The role emphasizes hands-on Gosu development, integration design, and production-ready implementation.

The ideal candidate has shipped Guidewire work in production, strong engineering discipline, and excellent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of Guidewire development experience.
Deep Gosu programming and Guidewire data model expertise.
Hands-on customization with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter or ClaimCenter.
Strong understanding of product model and rule design.
Experience building Guidewire integrations (messaging, batch, plugin).
Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
Strong SQL skills and Guidewire database schema knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Deliver configuration, integration, and customization across Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Guidewire Cloud.
Lead Gosu development and participate in design reviews.
Collaborate with analysts/ SMEs to translate requirements into robust solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and promote coding best practices.
Ensure production readiness and contribute to upgrade planning.
