Job summary

Frontline Insurance in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a seasoned Guidewire Developer III to lead performance engineering across Guidewire PolicyCenter and related insurance applications. You will configure, code in Gosu, and optimize for scalability and availability.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in PolicyCenter development, experience with BillingCenter/ClaimCenter, and strong SQL tuning, JVM profiling, and CI/CD knowledge. This role offers robust benefits and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
• Experience with BillingCenter/ClaimCenter and Contact Manager is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Kubernetes deployments.
• Strong understanding of performance engineering concepts and JVM profiling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter modules (policy lifecycle, underwriting rules, rating, product model).
• Write and optimize Gosu code; develop PCF screens and UI enhancements.
• Build and maintain integration points using REST/SOAP APIs and Guidewire frameworks.
• Lead root cause analysis for performance issues and drive load testing strategies.
• Collaborate with DBAs on schema-level performance improvements.
