PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior GSE Shop Manager to lead maintenance operations around the clock, optimize fleet performance, and manage safety, personnel, and customer relationships.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of leadership experience in GSE/heavy equipment, and proven expertise in budgeting, CMMS usage, and regulatory compliance. You will drive continuous improvement in a 24/7 environment.

SUMMARY

The Senior GSE Shop Manager is responsible for overall leadership of GSE maintenance operations at an assigned location. This role oversees fleet performance, workforce management, safety, customer relationships, and financial results in a 24/7 environment. The position serves as the primary point of accountability for operational success and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (if required by location)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in GSE, heavy equipment, or industrial maintenance
• Experience managing multi-shift operations and leading supervisors
• Strong understanding of maintenance operations and performance metrics
• Experience managing customer relationships in a service environment
• Financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control
• Proficiency with CMMS systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations and operational compliance requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required airport credentials
• Must be available to support a 24/7 operation as needed
