Job summary

Inversion in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Ground Software Engineer to architect, build, and deploy real-time ground software for space-vehicle command and control, collaborating with Flight Software, Avionics, and Simulation teams.

You will own the ground software stack, oversee development from test infra to deployment, and mentor engineers and interns, reporting to the Director of Engineering, Processing Core.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building flight or ground software.
• Strong coding skills in C/C++/Rust and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Linux development and deployment experience required.
• Experience with networking and distributed systems concepts.

Responsibilities
