Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. in Westborough, MA, is seeking a Sr. Manager for Advanced Grid Technologies to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on AI Data Center and Solid-State Transformer applications.

You will drive system-level solutions from concept to deployment, mentor engineers, and support strategic growth initiatives. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to define requirements, develop architectures, and oversee modeling, testing, and field deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in systems engineering, power conversion, data centers, energy storage, or related technologies.
• 4+ years leading multifunctional technical teams.
• Strong systems thinking and electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with modeling, simulation, and system validation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on advanced grid solutions (AIDC, SST).
• Develop system architectures and technical solutions for grid applications.
• Collaborate with customers, Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Lead modeling, simulation, and validation activities to support development.
• Provide technical leadership during deployments and customer projects.
• Manage external consultants and contractors to achieve objectives.
