Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Graphics Software Engineer in the Graphics Software Engineering group to architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs, perform comprehensive pre- and post-silicon testing, and contribute design documentation and APIs using C, C++, Perl, and Python across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2+ years of software/hardware or systems engineering experience.
• Master's degree with 1+ year of software/hardware, systems engineering, or game rendering experience.
• PhD in a related field.
• 1+ year of academic and/or work experience with one or more graphics languages (e.g., C++, C).

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, and verify GPU hardware, drivers, features, and tools.
• Write code for features and APIs using C/C++ and other languages; ensure cross-platform performance.
• Maintain pre- and post-silicon tests using simulations, emulation, or on-device tests.
• Identify deficiencies and collaborate to improve designs.
• Collaborate with teams to expose new features aligned with needs.
• Create detailed design documentation and feature descriptions for developers and customers.
