Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Senior Graphic Designer to partner with DARPA program managers, researchers, and partners onsite in Arlington, VA. You will drive program branding, visual storytelling, and print/digital assets while guiding junior designers.

You will ensure accessibility and brand integrity across complex concepts, campaigns, and high-profile presentations, collaborating with web teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD SECRET clearance.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ten or more years in graphic design with portfolio of visual layout, branding, infographics and responsive design.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards for digital assets.
• Strong listening, questioning and consulting skills.
• Experience collaborating with web developers and interactive media teams.
• Onsite work at DARPA headquarters in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Meet with diverse clients to understand concepts and target audiences.
• Guide visual identities aligned with program goals and DARPA branding.
• Conceptualize graphics for print and digital across events, websites and social media.
• Collaborate with web team to optimize graphics for responsive environments.
• Provide mentorship and direction to junior designers.
• Ensure accessibility compliance for digital outputs.
• Manage projects from intake to final proofing with realistic timelines.
