Job summary

Ranch House Designs is seeking an experienced graphic designer to create impactful visual content across print and digital media. The role focuses on print ads, logos, social graphics, and print-ready files, with Web work on WordPress as a plus.

The position offers both Wharton, TX office work and remote arrangements. A remote contract option is available at 10–20 hours per week during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a graphic designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions.
• High level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Knowledge of print design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Capacity to collaborate with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Websites: Built in WordPress platform; initial home page and page setups.
• Print Ads: Design high impact ads using Photoshop.
• Logos: Create unique logos in Illustrator.
• Catalogs: Develop catalogs, familiarity with Data Merge, InDesign.
• Social Graphics: Create cross-platform social visuals maintaining brand consistency.
• Resize Ads: Adapt ads for different mediums and platforms.
• Mockups for Social: Produce mockups for social campaigns for client previews.
• Collaboration: Work with a project manager as liaison between design and sales teams.
• Bonus: WordPress builds experience is a plus and compensated accordingly.
