Senior Graphic Designer – Campaigns Team

Role Duration: Immediate - October 30, 2026

Role Location: Ideally near our New York, N.Y. office; remote candidates in the United States will still be considered.

Salary range: $75,000 - $80,000 annually (prorated)

About the Campaigns Team

The Campaigns team is a leading Democratic political consulting and direct mail firm with a record of winning tough races. We have an in‑house creative studio that specializes in brand strategy, copywriting, design and direct mail production. We serve as creative partners to our clients, helping them solve their biggest challenges from brainstorming to creative production and execution. Together, we’re a team of strategists, copywriters, branding experts, and designers.

About This Role

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join the Campaigns team as we staff up for the 2026 election season. You should have natural talent and an interest in politics with the ability to translate abstract messages into direct mail, canvassing literature, digital/social media ads, and other creative products. This is a temporary, full‑time position running from March 2026 through October 30, 2026.

Accountabilities and Qualifications
  • Collaborate with Art Directors and account team members on multiple campaigns to produce and edit eye‑catching and exceptional direct mail, plus other campaign materials.
  • Regularly meet tight deadlines for a diverse range of candidates running for office.
  • Find solutions to feedback that maintain strong layouts, branding, and design hierarchy.
  • Actively participate in visual concepts for mail.
  • Organize and maintain project files.
  • 5+ years of experience with print design and art direction in an agency setting (or comparable environment).
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Detail‑oriented, efficient, organized, highly productive, and collaborative approach to work with strong time management skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced work environment and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, during peak periods.
  • Can adapt under pressure and quickly pivot priorities to meet last‑minute deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with political campaign design or related advanced political content.
  • Knowledge of multi‑channel political marketing and digital media production.
  • Proficiency with additional design software such as Sketch, Figma, or After Effects.
