Qualifications

Job description

Leads the creation and execution of visual design solutions across product packaging, marketing, and digital channels to support sales growth and business objectives. Provides creative leadership, ensures brand consistency, collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders, and delivers high-quality design assets that meet consumer, customer, regulatory, and production requirements.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the development, design, and production of packaging, marketing, promotional, digital, and print materials that align with brand strategies and business objectives.
  • Create compelling, consumer-focused visual solutions that effectively communicate brand positioning and enhance customer engagement.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand standards, visual identity guidelines, and design best practices across all creative assets.
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into innovative and effective design concepts.
  • Develop and execute packaging artwork from concept through final production, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and manufacturability. Includes working with supplier partners to design LDSP packaging using the manufacturer's brand standards.
  • Create packaging layouts, graphics, illustrations, and visual elements that meet regulatory, OTC labeling, customer, and production requirements.
  • Partner with product development, regulatory, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure packaging artwork is accurate and production ready.
  • Manage artwork revisions, approvals, and version control throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Lead multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting established timelines.
  • Participate in project planning, creative reviews, and stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, printers, packaging suppliers, photographers, and other creative partners as needed.
  • Prepare accurate production files and specifications for packaging, print, digital, and merchandising applications. Ensure designs meet technical requirements for printing, manufacturing, and digital deployment.
  • Maintain proficiency in industry-standard design software and stay current on emerging design trends, technologies, and consumer insights.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure all artwork, graphics, and visual communications are error-free and compliant before release.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on graphic design, packaging design, typography, color management, and production processes. Provide creative direction and design recommendations that support company growth initiatives, product launches, and customer-specific programs.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or related field preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional graphic design work experience required
  • Demonstrated expertise across print, digital, brand, and marketing design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative concept development and execution
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Regulatory and Compliance Awareness
  • Quality Assurance & Attention to Detail: Reliably delivers meticulous or impeccable work.
  • Print Production & Packaging Specifications
  • Project/Task Management: Takes lead to ensure successful completion, communicating with the project team effectively.

Physical and Working Environment:

  • Working Hours: General office hours, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility for business and personal needs
  • Working Environment: Work usually performed in an office setting

  • Travel: Travel is expected to be minimal at less than 10%
