Compassus is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead visual branding initiatives and develop compelling materials across multiple formats, including PowerPoint, collateral, ads, videos, and digital assets.
You will craft original illustrations and infographics while ensuring the organization’s brand remains consistent with stakeholders and industry audiences. The role emphasizes collaboration and timely delivery in a fast-paced hospice environment.
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for the complete design process from conception and business alignment to delivery in multiple formats including PowerPoint, collateral, advertisements, videos, digital, Out of Home, and other branding opportunities. S/he designs original pieces, including but not limited to illustrations and infographics. In addition, s/he generates ideas to further the organization's mission and vision through visual identity.
Creates and manages internal and external branding materials. Completes all design projects, from conception/layout to delivery ensuring brand consistency with various stakeholders and audiences, including business-to-business and business-to-consumer strategies. Delivers beautiful, high-caliber imagery to support our organizational brand. Builds presentation materials that may utilize PowerPoint and videos as well as developing charts, graphs and infographics, and illustrations. Adheres to a strict production schedule that allows for multiple projects at the same time. Reviews graphic materials and copy developed by the Marketing team to ensure brand and overall marketing objectives are accurately translated into designs. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Design, Fine Arts, Art, Advertising, Graphic Arts or comparable area of study required. Minimum of five (5) years experience in graphic design required. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Typography, Photoshop, PowerPoint and other relevant technology required.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, colleagues, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications. Other Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated, individual experience in the development of basic digital materials such as email, e-newsletters, videos, and banner ads, from design to completion. Ability to stay up to date on graphic trends and programs via online training and industry resources. Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members. Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces hospice philosophy.

Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
