The role blends graphic design and motion to deliver high-quality creative at scale.

The candidate will translate complex tech ideas into clear visuals, evolve brand systems, and collaborate across designers, video and motion specialists, producers, writers, and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with strong typography, composition, color and visual design.
• Demonstrated motion design expertise with a portfolio showing animation, storytelling and visual craft.
• Portfolio showcasing versatile graphic design across formats and channels.
• Experience working within and evolving brand systems to be scalable and production-ready.
• Experience using AI and emerging creative technologies to enhance design exploration and workflows.

Unity’s Brand Studio is seeking a Senior Graphic and Motion Designer to help shape how Unity presents itself across brand, marketing, campaigns, product launches, social, events, and other high-visibility initiatives. This role blends graphic design and motion to evolve Unity’s visual language with strategically grounded, high-quality creative produced at scale.

• Conceptualize and deliver high-quality graphic and motion design across brand, campaigns, product launches, social, events, and marketing initiatives.
• Translate complex business, product, and technical ideas into clear and compelling visual stories.
• Evolve Unity’s visual language by creating creative concepts and extending brand systems across new channels and formats.
• Collaborate with designers, video and motion specialists, producers, writers, marketers, and stakeholders from concept through final delivery.
• Produce and deliver production-ready assets for digital, social, presentation, event, print, and other mediums while maintaining strong craft and consistency.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with a strong foundation in typography, composition, color, and visual design.
• Demonstrated motion design expertise, supported by a portfolio featuring strong animation, storytelling, and visual craft.
• A portfolio that showcases versatile graphic design capabilities and the ability to develop creative across multiple formats and channels.
• Experience working within and evolving brand systems, including creating work that is consistent, scalable, and production-ready.
• Experience using AI and emerging creative technologies to enhance design exploration, production, and creative workflows.

• Experience working with 3D.
• Experience with video production, editing, or post-production.
• Experience creating brand guidelines, templates, or scalable design systems.

Base Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions).

• Zone A: $87,400 - $131,200 USD gross
• Zone B: $98,800 - $148,200 USD gross
• Zone C: $111,000 - $166,600 USD gross
• Zone A: CA$84,200 - CA$126,200 CAD gross
• Zone B: CA$90,900 - CA$136,300 CAD gross

The final offer amount will depend on geographic location as well as relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
