Job description

Analytica is seeking a Senior Graph Database Developer to support a highly complex critical federal program requiring advanced graph-based data engineering and analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of graph data models and associated ETL pipelines, supporting large-scale structured and unstructured datasets. This role requires deep expertise in graph database technologies, data modeling, and ETL processes, as well as the ability to collaborate across technical and stakeholder teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead graph database development and ETL processes on large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Design, implement, and maintain graph data models, ensuring alignment with ontological references and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data structures, schemas, indexes, and relationships to optimize performance, scalability, and analytical use cases.
  • Identify and document entity relationships, referential integrity constraints, and key structures, including analysis of tradeoffs between alternative graph and hybrid schemas.
  • Collaborate with database administrators, data engineers, and stakeholder teams to validate data accuracy, formatting, and reliability.
  • Document graph models, ETL processes, and scripts consistent with industry best practices and government guidelines.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise database environments.
  • 4+ years of Cypher experience including data modeling and query optimization.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing ETL processes for large-scale data environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling, including schema design and performance optimization.
  • Experience supporting federal financial, compliance, regulatory, or tax administration systems is highly preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an IRS Public Trust clearance (MBI)
