UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Senior Grants Specialist to manage research funding processes, assist with proposals, negotiate contracts, and administer awards. Works under minimal supervision to provide administrative support to researchers by identifying funding opportunities, assisting with preparation and processing of proposals, negotiating contracts, receiving awards, and assisting in administration. The Senior Grants Specialist in Pediatrics will work closely with assigned divisions and faculty to submit, process, review, receive and administer research grants and awards. While also monitoring award agreements, subcontracts and grant agreements throughout the life of the award. The Senior Grants Specialist will be the primary point of contact for their faculty regarding sponsored programs, applications, new application processes, and any reporting that should take place for the received awards. This role is expected to work under minimal supervision while providing this administrative support to the researchers/faculty and maintain a level of professionalism, collaboration, resourcefulness and practicality.
