Job summary

The New York Genome Center seeks a Senior Grants & Finance Manager to lead pre-award and post-award administration for NIH, foundation, and startup funds. You will guide PIs and staff on budgeting, reporting, and spend plans, while supervising the grants team and contributing to Cayuse ERP initiatives.

Required: bachelor’s in a business field, 7+ years in grants finance, and strong communication skills; CRA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
• CRA certification preferred.
• 7+ years of related pre- and post-award or budgeting financial experience required.
• Experience with NIH grants is required; NSF, DOE, DOD preferred.
• Proficiency in non-profit accounting, audits, and Uniform Guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit grant and contract proposals as Signing Official.
• Develop proposal budgets and document for primes/subawards.
• Manage award setup, terms, and budget monitoring.
• Supervise Pre- and Post-Award Specialist; provide training and support.
• Oversee ERP implementation and ensure grant compliance.
