Job summary

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Grant Operations Specialist (Pre-Award) to lead pre-award processes and align funding strategies with operations.

You will manage RFAs, RFPs, and related funding initiatives, coordinating across scientific, finance, technology, and grants operations teams to ensure timely and well-structured opportunities. Hybrid-flex role requiring in-person work at the NYC office.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex funding programs and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience coordinating RFAs, RFPs, grant competitions, or similar processes.
• Strong project management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational planning for assigned funding opportunities, including RFAs, RFPs, and related mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with timelines and dependencies.
• Coordinate all operational aspects of the pre-award lifecycle from intake to funding recommendations.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, and resources with department leadership.
• Partner with scientific staff to translate funding strategies into executable workflows.
• Serve as main operational point of contact for applicants, reviewers, and external stakeholders.
