Job summary

The University of Oklahoma is seeking a Lead Contract/Grant Coordinator in the Department of Medicine. This role provides administrative support to a state or national level sponsored grant by preparing grant proposals, managing grant award finances, and liaising between faculty and central offices for approvals.

Under minimal supervision, you will work with the Central Research Team to help achieve the DOM’s mission while applying a proficient understanding of research administration concepts

Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of research administration concepts, guidelines, and principles.
• Bachelor's Degree required; 60 months experience in grant proposal submission and/or research administration.
• Substitution: 48 months experience can substitute for the Bachelor's Degree for a total of 108 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to a state or national level sponsored grant by preparing grant proposals.
• Manage grant award finances and act as a liaison between faculty and central offices for required university approvals.
• Assist Central Research Team Manager to achieve DOM’s mission.
