Job summary

New York University is seeking a dynamic Academic Advisor, Senior and Graduation Support within the College of Arts & Science Advising Team in New York. The role focuses on supporting final-year students preparing to graduate, using data to partner with campus stakeholders to facilitate timely graduation.

Reporting to the Director of Advising, you will help plan and develop programs that strengthen the senior-year experience and ensure smooth degree completion while advising diverse student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts discipline or relevant field.
• Master's Degree in Liberal Arts subject is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in advising, and/or student services.
• 5+ years experience in an academic environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students in their final year preparing to graduate.
• Leverage data to partner with institutional stakeholders to facilitate timely graduation.
• Assist with planning and development of programs and initiatives designed around supporting the senior year experience.
