Job summary

NVIDIA's GPU Architecture Group is seeking architects to design the device profiler subsystem embedded in every GPU for advanced profiling and performance insights. You will combine hardware modeling, verification, and software understanding across a global team to push AI performance forward.

Requirements include a Masters/PhD in a related field or equivalent, 3+ years in architecture/verification, and strong C++/Python skills.

Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years of experience in computer architecture, ASIC design/verification, or software development.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
  • Solid foundation in computer architecture and hardware performance analysis.
  • Experience with performance modeling and hardware simulation, ideally SystemC.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and plan features with software, hardware, and verification teams globally to implement next-gen GPU profiling features.
  • Build functional and performance models to refine and verify hardware designs.
  • Create test plans to validate the features and contribute to their implementation.
  • Continuously develop skills by improving understanding of AI workloads, GPU architecture, and profiling software stack.
