Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a world-class computer architect to contribute to future high-performance computing systems, with emphasis on memory systems and energy efficiency. You will analyze benchmarks and power simulations while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to push perf/W and perf/mm to new levels.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in CPU/GPU architecture, memory design, and power analysis, with strong C/C++ skills and scripting proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of CPU/GPU architecture experience with emphasis on energy efficiency.
• Strong understanding of memory systems design and perf/W, perf/mm.
• Experience with power analysis tools and modeling.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance processor architectures focusing on the memory system and energy efficiency.
• Develop architecture features to improve GPU memory systems, optimizing perf/W, perf/mm and perf/$.
• Develop and enhance architecture prototype models for power and noise analysis.
• Participate in performance and power simulation to analyze energy per byte.
• Analyze benchmarks and workloads to identify architecture optimizations.
• Debug power, performance, and functional issues across models, RTL, silicon and systems.
• Collaborate with external partners on system infrastructure.
