Job summary

NVIDIA in Pennsylvania is seeking a senior engineer to advance kernel generation, JITing, and fused matrix operations on GPUs. You will lead multi-engineer projects and drive performance for AI and HPC workloads.

Qualifications

• PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor's degree in CS, applied math, or related field.
• 8+ years in HPC software design and performance optimization in C++.
• Strong kernel generation and composable library design for linear algebra.
• Leadership and project execution experience.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation habits.
• JIT focus/experience with kernel generation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement high quality numerical dense linear algebra software on GPUs.
• Own projects across multiple engineers and teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with product management and customers on roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce maintenance.
• Coordinate across teams to align goals and deliver outcomes.
