Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and optimize GPU-accelerated libraries and algorithms. You will contribute to nvComp, NPP, nvJPEG, and related projects across CPU/GPU architectures, driving efficiency and scalability.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of parallel computing experience with CUDA, strong C/C++ skills, and a track record of leading software initiatives. You will work in a collaborative, global environment and advance state-of-the-art computing

Qualifications

PhD or MSc preferred in Computational Science, CS, Applied Math, or related field (or equivalent experience).
12+ years experience in developing high-performance parallel numerical applications with CUDA.
Excellent C/C++ programming and software design skills.
Proven experience leading and completing software development projects.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable library software using modern tools and languages for numerical methods.
Performance tuning, optimization, and benchmarking of algorithms on various architectures.
Collaborate with product management and partners to align features with roadmaps.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to library engineers.
Identify opportunities to improve library performance and reduce maintenance cost.
